Why we exist
Prime Reviews Pro started because we got burned too many times. Standing desks that wobbled at standing height. Monitors with color banding the reviews never mentioned. Office chairs that looked great in product photos and fell apart within a year. The pattern was always the same — hundreds of five-star reviews, zero mention of the actual problems.
So we built what we wished existed: a review site that checks whether the reviews you are reading are real, plus an AI-powered tool that scans Amazon listings for fake-review patterns before you buy.
How we choose
We do not buy or physically test the products on this site. What we do instead is examine the evidence that already exists about them — above all whether a listing's Amazon reviews are genuine, using the same detector we give away free on this site.
- Fake-review screening — every product's Amazon review page is run through our own detector, and a listing whose reviews look manipulated is not recommended.
- Owner consensus — we look for the praise and the complaints that recur across many independent reviews, which is far more reliable than any single opinion.
- Published specifications — figures such as capacity, dimensions and rated speeds come from the manufacturer, and we report them as the manufacturer's claim rather than as our own measurement.
- Updates — when a product is revised or discontinued, the pick is changed or removed.
If you want a hands-on verdict from someone who has used a product for months, we are not that site — and we would rather say so than invent one.
How we stay independent
Prime Reviews Pro earns money in two ways:
- Amazon affiliate commissions. When you click a product link from one of our reviews and buy something at Amazon, Amazon pays us a small commission. The price you pay does not change.
- Premium subscriptions to our fake-review analyzer tool.
We do not sell advertising. We do not accept paid placements. We do not accept free products from manufacturers. A product earns its place on our recommended list by actually being good — never because someone paid us to say so.
Who we cover
Our editorial focus is the home office: standing desks, office chairs, monitors, printers, lighting, keyboards, webcams, and the rest of the gear that shapes where people spend 40+ hours a week. We know this category in depth because we live in it.
